About Jason Guffy

Jason Guffy is a California-based fashion, beauty, and product photographer with over 20 years of creative and commercial experience. He grew up in Northern California, taught surfing in Southern California, and worked as a snowboarding instructor during his teens. After studying marine biology, he owned a restaurant in Venice Beach before honing his craft at one of New York City’s busiest commercial studios.

Today, Jason is based in San Diego, where he runs an advertising photography practice focused on clean, high-impact imagery. He lives with his wife and two children and continues to balance creative direction with operational excellence.
