About Jason Guffy

Polished, editorial-minded commercial photography. Based in Oceanside, California, working across San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Available globally.

For six years, Jason worked as an in-house photographer for Macy's, producing hundreds of national print campaigns in New York. His images appeared in magazines, full-page New York Times spreads, and on subway platforms and bus shelters across the city.

His work has since expanded across beauty, fashion, music, product, and portrait photography, with clients including Deftones, Warner Bros., Derma E, JAFRA, R.D. Alchemy, and Chronos RX. Today he photographs skincare and beauty campaigns, executive portraits, model portfolios, actors, artists, and commercial work. Alongside the commission work, he has also led photography teams for national e-commerce brands. Production at volume, with the same standards.

Jason's editorial and fashion work has grown through referral, trust, and years of showing up prepared. He has worked with talent represented by Wilhelmina, Ford, Willow, and APM, including Melanie Chandra, first as an architect building a portfolio in Manhattan and later for the cover of Hair magazine. He has also documented artwork in Gaetano Pesce's New York studio.

Twenty years in, the studio is open for commercial, editorial, beauty, and portrait commissions.
