This privacy policy explains what information is collected when you visit jasonguffy.com, how it is used, and what rights you have over that information.
Information We Collect
Analytics data. This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with the work. Google Analytics collects standard web traffic data including pages visited, approximate location (city level), browser type, device type, referring website, and time spent on each page. This information is associated with an anonymous identifier, not your name or email address.
Contact form submissions. When you fill out the contact form on contact.html, the name, email address, project type, and message you provide are submitted to Formspree, a third-party form processing service, and forwarded to jason@jasonguffy.com.
How We Use This Information
Analytics data is used to understand which work resonates with visitors and how to improve the site over time. It is not used for advertising, remarketing, or sale to any third party.
Contact form information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. You are not added to any mailing list, and your information is not sold or shared for any purpose beyond responding to the conversation you started.
Third-Party Services
This site uses the following third-party services that may process visitor information:
- Google Analytics (analytics.google.com). Behavioral data collection. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Formspree (formspree.io). Contact form processing. See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
- DreamHost (dreamhost.com). Web hosting. Standard server access logs are collected as part of hosting infrastructure.
Cookies
This site sets cookies via Google Analytics. You can disable these in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser extension to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you across any site.
Data Retention
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default. Contact form submissions are retained in the recipient mailbox until manually deleted or until you request removal.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information collected through this site by emailing jason@jasonguffy.com. Requests will generally be responded to within 30 days.
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion of that information. To exercise these rights, contact jason@jasonguffy.com.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

This policy may be updated periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
